Also in the footnotes for the seagate drives, is it the SN04 revision or the NS04 revision that is being referred to?
There are no SN listed drives, but there are NS drives listed.

The note for the JS/KS/YD/YS is for old drives that end exactly with only these letters, for example WD 500GB JS.
On the Seagate note this is the firmware of the drive not the part model number.
