As time moves on, it seems like it would be worth noting what makes a drive compatible or incompatible. Now that 4K sectors are possible, it's hard to know what wouldn't be compatible now. Generally, any drive SHOULD work that's currently sold meeting certain specs. Certification is nice if possible of course!
