Hey guys,
I've bought me a RN314 with two WD4001FAEX drives. My plan was, to migrate two of the HDDs (WD20EARS) I used in my NV+ before, to the RN314.
I know, that they are not on the compatibility list, but the data is not that important. I would take the risk that I will get a problem sometime in the future.
Unfortunately it is not possible to get them added to the XRAID2, because it recognizes that the drive is not supported. The funny point is that it's NO problem to add a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 to the XRAID2 which is also not supported.
Is there any way I can get the WD20EARS HDDs to work in the RN314 (running OS6.1.5).
Cheers
