Readynas duo - 3Tb External Hdd via Usb
Hi
So I learned the hard way that neither does the duo support 3tb Hdd or make it possible to connect the old disks straight into a Windows PC.
My question is then if it would be possible to do a backup using the front usb port onto a 3tb disk using a sata 3.5 Hdd docking station (Andersson as2105). I've tried with little success.
Thanks

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe fastest backup is over gigabit ethernet to a disk connected to your PC. That also will work with any disk that your PC can handle.
I don't think the duo v1 handles any directly attached disk > 2 TB.
