ReadyNAS DUO - Corrupt Root Issue
Hi Guys,
on my DUO V2 I have an issue of 'CORRUPT ROOT' with #2 BARRACUDA 1TB - ST1000DM003.
So I would like to reset all configuration but I didn't find a correct procedure to do this.
I tried as USB Recovry or TFTP Recovery, without success.
someone can helpe me on this direction ?
I guess to wrong some point on my process
other point, there is a way to connect via Telnet or Serial to the device
let me Know
Riccardo

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserBy "reset all configuration" do you mean a factory reset? If so, the procedure is in the hardware manual here: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20683
Also, please confirm that you have a v2 and not a v1 - the labels on the v1 are misleading. Use this guide instead: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/ - rraggiAspirantYES
I mean to recovery the FACTORY DEFAULT VALUES and I confirm ReadyNAS DUO v2 as box and I have already followed the reset configuration procedure described on the Hardware Manual.
it's beging a nughtmare this NAS !!!! - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThis must be a Duo (v1). It shows up in RAIDar as a "ReadyNAS Duo" not a "ReadyNAS Duo v2".
