ReadyNAS Duo - "The main folder is damage"

    To confirm the current situation, is that what you attempted: Did you insert the HDDs from the ReadyNAS Duo v1 into the ReadyNAS Duo v2 hoping that it would boot properly and share your data as normal?

    Can you tell me exactly how is "Duo" (the model name/number) written in the bottom front as well as bottom sticker on each of these units please? It's a long story, but there are what I used to call "Duo v1v2" and "Duo v2v1". Is it like "Duo" on the front and "Duo v2" on the bottom, or "Duo v2" on the bottom and "RND2000 v2" on the bottom? Please confirm for both.

    Why did you replace the NAS? To get something newer? Because it wasn't working anymore? If so, what did the old NAS do that you replaced it?
