Readynas Duo and WD2003FZEX compatibility

The duo and nv+ v1 HCL are updated rarely. If you purchased more than three years ago (likely) you are out of warranty anyway.
Personally I am using the WD20EFRX in my duo v1, and have had no trouble with it. Hopefully folks who have experience with the WD2003FZEX will reply. Though I'd probably try them first, and see what happens.
What firmware are you running? You might need to update the firmware first (and if your setup is old, you might want to do a factory reset). There's a guide here you might want to check. http://www.rnasguide.com/2011/06/22/why ... -readynas/
