READYNAS Duo RND2150 Drive Trays
Hi. Got one of these second hand without any drive-trays. Where can I get these nowadays?
If you are looking on eBay and it doesn't list the compatible models, insure you don't get the tool-less version, as they are incompatible with your unit. Those from any rack-mount model are also incompatible.
There are hurdles involved in using an old NAS like the Duo as well as a 2TB limitation on drive size. Since you are likely to spend at least $50US to get the caddies, you should really browse the forum to find out more before you spend more on a device that may not meet your needs.
IMHO, the only reason to buy a Duo or NV+ (original or V2) today is as a replacement or spare for a user that has one already and is not ready to move to a newer NAS or needs to recover data from an existing volume.

Duo, NV+, NVX, Ultra, Pro desktop models all use compatible trays. There are two variants out there, the ones with the square latches work better (the original ones with round buttons tend to stick).
