HI Tony.
Sorry if there is any confusion.
My Duo v2 is working fine and is seen and used wire or wireless throughout my LAN, I set my IP addresses to be fixed on all wired hardware.
I have Windows v7 PC's & laptops and Android devices they all can use the Duo v2 without concern.
My Duo v1 can not be seen on my LAN at all, I have tried everything that I can think of all wired to the LAN, on different hubs/routers. Nothing.
The only symptom that have available to me is that the Duo v1, appears to boot up in an expected way, with both 2Tb HDD (Raided) show green LED lights at the front of the unit. AT the rear, the Ethernet port shows a fixed amber LED along with the green LED flashing normally (as if it was communicating with the LAN). Additionally, the LED lights on the Hub/router show that it is connected and are flashing to suggest 1000Mb connections and working as if normally.
I can not Ping the device to the last IP address known or the default.
RAIDar does not identify it on the LAN.
Tried all of the above with my laptop as well to no avail, including direct connection to my laptop to no avail either.
Therefore I can not work the unit in anyway at all.
In the mean time I am using the free Linux Reader on my study PC, transferred #1 HDD from duo v1 to the PC and have been able to recover all the data on duo v1 to duo v2 quite happily, but slowly. Will hopefully finish that of tomorrow or Friday, so then I can play with duo v1 safely without having to worry about my data!
