ReadyNAS Duo v2 - Replacement HD
Hi Ive had my Disk 1 show a error of 'Dead' in System --> Info window so I have replace with a Seagate ST31000524AS drive. Problem I have is Im not sure its synchronizing as I still see the sam...

It looks like its rebuilt disk 1 but now is telling me disk 2 could be faulty but the status for disk 2 is OK.
Disk 1 is showing a yelow circle with a red cross through it and status is inactive.

There's no sign that it rebuilt disk 1 (or synced it to disk 2).
Maybe try removing disk 1, then reinserting it (with the NAS running).

Ive just removed and reseated the drive and it now says:
RAID sync started on volume C.
Data volume will be rebuilt with disk 1.
New disk detected. If multiple disks have been added, they will be processed one at a time. Please do not remove any added disk(s) during this time. [Disk 1]
I will let you know how it goes.
