Readynas duo v2 RND 2110-200EUS - Set up

The backup program (windows backup in this case) is writing to a network share on the NAS. This network share is a folder on the NAS that is set up to be accessible to PCs and other devices (tablets, etc) on your local network.
Can you find the name of this target folder? It should have the form \\nasname\sharename.
One thing to try is to enter the windows credential manager, and create windows credentials for both the NAS hostname and the NAS IP address. The username and password should be for an account on the NAS. "admin" should work (though it depends in part on the target folder).

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Before I upgraded to win 10, I was using the shares and backup via RAIDiator vx86-4.2.28 (probably the way its meant to work), since win 10 upgrade it stopped working, so I now want to use the built in windows back up but dont know how to configure my network so this will happen.
I dont know much about networking so please be patient!
If you are starting over, you need to do the following steps (in order)
(a) create a share on the NAS to hold the backups
(b) set up the PC to access that share - which includes adding the credential I talked about above
(c) set up Windows Backup so that share is the target (destination) folder.
Once you get through (a) and (b) you can use this guide for (c) - omitting "Create the destination share on the ReadyNAS" - that part only applies to OS 6 readynas, which is not what you have.

I'm a bit confused here, because 4.2.28 won't run on a RND2110-200EUS. What firmware are you currently running?

The firmware is listed as 5.3.12.
No certain how to set up PC to access the share?
