ReadyNAS Duo
New here....just got this box and I'm trying to reset it so I can 1. get access to the web interface and update the firmware 2. reset it to default, so that it can show up on my network for access...

My article indicates that means you have a v1 hardware revision 2 not a v2.
If you have a v2 it would say "ReadyNAS Duo v2" on the front.
To do a factory default.
1. Power down the unit
2. Press and hold the reset button
3. Power on the unit
4. The disk LEDs will blink once at 5 seconds and again after 30 seconds. Release the reset button after the second blink (about 30 seconds).
