ReadyNas Issue Admin Password Account Locked after Firmware Upgrade
I recently upgraded the firmware to the most recent version and now I can no longer access the admin page with my username and password. I also tried the default password password and no bueno. No joy... HELP Please!

This happened to me as well. I don't believe this is a Netgear product issue. Rather, underhanded ISP greed and devilry. It also helps force you to pay for their modems and routers. It's do it their way or no way scheme.

The login name for the admin page is normally "admin", not your user name.
Another user recently reported a similar issue, and had to do an OS re-install, which resets the admin password to password.
