readynas nv+ green disk LED no longer lights up
One of the green disk LED no longer lights up on a readynas NV+. What are my options? Disk is fine and present in that slot.
The Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166 seem unreliable. The drive in question has 359 hours. The LED went off. I pulled out the drive. Hot event detected. Inserted the drive back in. RAID resync started and the light is now flashing. So, it is not an LED issue but rather a drive issue as pointed out earlier. Why was an alert not provided? Which log should I be looking at to find out what happened? Why is it now doing a resync and not complaining about a bad drive? Why has it not complained about the drive at all ever?
