readynas nv+ green disk LED no longer lights up
One of the green disk LED no longer lights up on a readynas NV+. What are my options? Disk is fine and present in that slot.
The RAM is soldered on in the V2 and not replaceable. When did you purchase the NV+ v2. If you just purchased it and a disk LED is faulty return it to your reseller in exchange for a new one. Otherwise open a tech support case. NetGear would likely need to replace the unit with a refurbished unit if the disk LED is confirmed as dead. You could choose to keep the unit if you want but would need to bear in mind the dead LED.
