ReadyNAS NV+ Raid Version
I'm using a software called ReClaiMe RAID Recovery to attempt to recover my RAID configuration and just wanted to know if there is a way to determine what RAID level is used. I found this article...

You are asking about an NV+, but pointed to an article regarding the NV+V2. Since they use different formats, we need to figure out which you have. If you unit is silver and has an internal power supply, it's the original NV+ (even if it has a sticker that says "V2" or even "V3). That uses RAID4, which is similar to RAID5 but has a dedicated parity drive instead of spreading the parity blocks across the drive set. The NV+V2 is black and has an external power brick, and it would be RAID5 for 4 drives.
ReclaiME is typically overkill/overpriced for those models. R-Studio for Windows should work.
But what are you recovering from? NAS failure? Bad drives? Other volume related problem?
