ReadyNAS NV+ RND4250 - AFP ok, NFS inaccessible
Hi all,
I've had my NAS for many years and have backed up lots of family pics plus various machines onto it over the years.
When I got a new MAC, and then changed ISP (BT to SKY) it was put aside temporarily.
I've now hooked it up to the SKY router via ethernet.
What works - I can use finder to go to the AFP server and can see some old backups.
WHAT DOES NOT WORK - I believe that most of the data is on an NFS share which I used to have to login to.
NFS://IP address does not connect, and gets the message - "There was a problem connecting to the server "ip address". You do not have permission to access this server. I believe I know the credentials required, but I'm not prompted.
I would be so grateful if somebody could unlock this issue.
Thanks,
Paul

Can you log into frontview? Note you'll need to download an old version of firefox, because safari has dropped support for TLS 1.0. Firefox 94.0.2 will work.
Once into frontview, you can change the share settings so that all shares are accessible with AFP.
