Yes you can migrate the disks from the NVX or even e.g. to a Pro 4. I wouldn't migrate the other way from the Pro 4 to a NVX however.
Best to make sure the replacement NAS has at least as new firmware on it as what the old unit had first. Best to keep the drive order the same.
