ReadyNAS NVX problems replacing disk
Hi, Yesterday I received a notification that one of the disks in my ReadyNAS NVX was dead and required replacement. I had a spare disk of the same kind (it is the 3TB Hitachi that is listed in the...
You may not need to wait at all before adding the disk after the disk removal notification appears. Just wanted to see if it made a difference.
What do you see on the display on the NAS itself. After adding a disk you can sometimes see things like Testing Disk etc. before anything is shown in RAIDar or Frontview
