ReadyNAS OS forks 6.9.5 vs 6.10
So my understanding is that 6.9.5 would continue to receive fixes vs new capabilities via hotfixes.
New capabilities would be introduced in 6.10 and subsequent versions.
However I see fixes introduced into 6.10--will those be covered in a 6.9.5 hotfix 2? or is there not alot of priorityplaced toward those to stayed in 6.9.5? 6.9.5 is quite stable!
thanks

At some point the long term stable (LTS) release will shift upwards to 6.10.x. So Netgear might do that instead of releasing more hot fixes to 6.9.5.

Also, the LTS release is currently 6.9.6, not 6.9.5. https://kb.netgear.com/000061331/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Software-Version-6-9-6-Long-term-support-version-of-6-10-2

Though checking for an update on a 6.9.5 unit with the LTS option selected will not show you this update is available.
