ReadyNas per network
Hi Folks,
This is more a curiosity question.
What happens if two or more readynas sit on one network?
Can they be linked like Synologies or do they sit as two seperate enterties?
Thanks

Watch the video again and they were being linked via a SATA link!

They are separate entities and you want it like that. Linking them could mean a failure of one causes data loss on both.

One vendor does offer at lest a dedicated management software - but it's not part of the nice Web management environment.

I do see some value in being able to apply at least some configuration changes to all ReadyNAS.
That said, I haven't found it difficult to manage my various ReadyNAS independently. Though I have had a lot of users (and wasn't using AD) I'd likely really want coordinated management.
