Hi Folks,
This is more a curiosity question.
What happens if two or more readynas sit on one network?
Can they be linked like Synologies or do they sit as two seperate enterties?

Not sure what video you are referring to - on NAS SATA or eSATA ports you can only connect expansion boxes e.g. with SATA port multipliers (as Netgear had the EDA500 - no longer available).

Synology also have expansion units, so that may be what you are seeing, not two NASes.
