ReadyNAS Pro 6 suddenly in reboot loop.... dead?

Okay, so my power supply finally arrived (guaranteed Sunday from Amazon's own delivery service, but didn't come until Tuesday - grrr!)
I purchased the Thermaltake Toughpower SFX 450W.
First, it works! Got it installed (more on that below), pressed the power button... and all 6 drives initialized, it booted up, and it's currently in resync (due to all the crashes). Not hooked up to network yet (will take it down to my network room and its bonded connections in a couple hours, have something else to do first) so I haven't checked the web interface.
Second - I wouldn't recommend this power supply for the Readynas. I bought it primarily because it was available same day delivery, but also because it's 450w, 80 plus gold certified, modular, has a 7 year warranty, and uses Japanese capacitors. Sounds great, right?
And yet it doesn't fit that well. It has to be installed "backwards" (power supply input on the opposite side of the case as the original, but thankfully the wiring harness has enough slack to accomodate), otherwise the cooling fan is INSIDE the case and the rear case fan hits the modular connectors. Installed the other way, the cooling fan is offset and about 1/3 blocked by the chassis (although airflow is probably adequate). Also, the modular cables are NOT sleeved; they're ribbon style which really isn't ideal. Finally, it does require a 24-pin extension (3-4" would be enough) and as there's only 2 Molex, a SATA to Molex adapter.
I'll keep an eye on the temps for a bit, but otherwise I hope this will keep it going a while longer.
There’s no backup (it’s not mission critical data) but to be sure, It would be much easier not to lose it.
Reading up on the power supplies on these, I’m thinking that’s the most likely culprit at this moment. It hasn’t completely failed, but I think after 7 years of running continuous something went and it can’t supply high enough current for everything at load any more (ie reading from 6 disks).
Certainly that’s the easiest thing to test first. I can’t find the Seasonic anywhere in Canada, but I’ve ordered an appropriate SFX supply (450w this time) with 3 molex plus 24-pin extender.

Firmware is 4.2.something. Maybe .30? I know I updated it not too long ago, and the upgrade email was offering 4.2.31.

It would be good to test the PSU first but if you ever come upon a Pro 6 with a reasonable price you might want to consider that or upgrading to an OS 6 unit is also an option.

Just a final update, everything is indeed working fine. Resync completed successfully, and all my data is there. System temps after 16 hours are the same as before. Updated to latest firmware to be safe.
Looking at the log, after that very first reboot I was witness to, it rebooted another two dozen times far enough for it to record "system is up" in the log, every 2-4 minutes, and then after that stopped getting far enough to actually write anything in the log. Looking at the drives, the start/stop cycles on them increased by like 160 cycles, and one drive, #5, actually increased over 350 cycles in the same period, so I think it was having trouble getting power in particular.
