ReadyNAS Rebooting and operating software driver and whatever elses is needed for getting it running
I have revently Picked up the ReadyNAS RNV1-S1-0000 off a buddy of mine. a little dusty. trying to get it operational and i seem to cannot find which software is the proper software for it to get it ...

Does it look like this?
If so, you picked up an Infrant ReadyNAS NV (going back to before Infrant was purchased by Netgear). It dates back to 2006.
The current firmware for it is 4.1.16, which can be downloaded here: https://kb.netgear.com/000038792/RAIDiator-Version-4-1-16-Sparc
You could try inserting the trays into the NAS and powering it up. Then run RAIDar on a PC and see if it can find it ( https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads ) Normally you'd adminster the NAS using it's web interface (http://nas-ip-address/admin) If the firmware is very old you could run into browser compatibility issues.

Also with the connections looking into my router. It also doesnot read the unit as Connected. maby its in a security lock out? or a pre boot mode? any advice on this matter.'
I got Raidar active on my pc and properly downloaded it as well but with no site of it seeing the unit
