ReadyNas RN10200 Showing Offline After Firmware Update
Last night I noticed my NAS had a firmware update, which I carried out. briefly checked it and it seemed to have went well with me being able to access my files. This morning when I went to access t...

Morning, Apologies as I had a meal with the inlaws and the server wasn't a case of simply trying it out.
It didn't seem to work. I rebooted again & also closed all PC ReadyCloud apps which also didn't work. The weird thing is that I have the mobile RC app and this has always been fine.
I thought I'd got to the bottom (or part of it) of the issue just before going out. I looked at one of the folders setting and noticed that the folder owner was set to 'guest' and changed it. Straight away I was able to gain access. I went out for my meal and this morning set about replicating for the other folders. The others weren't set as 'guest' and were setup as I would have expected. Really weird.
**Edit** Ok it looks like some of the settings had also changed. At least I think. I thought I'd replicated the settings for the other folders however I noticed that I hadn't ticked read access for the user which was my email address. That email address is the one associated with the RC app so I'm guessing that's what the issue was. Seems to be fixed now lol.
Thank you for your help and time with this. Really appreciated. Great community page for getting help as well.

Can you reboot your NAS and see if you still have this problem?

Would seem I spoke too soon.
I can now access the shares on the web browser (which is great) however I'm unable to on the ReadyCloud pc app. I can login and see all the shares however nothing happens when I click on the folders. It does the swirling symbol however the folder doesn't appear. It just does nothing. I've logged out and back in, exited completed, updated the app and also closed and restarted the app via admin cmd.
**Edit** Weird, I can access some folders via ReadyCloud PC app but not other. Checked access settings and nothing to suggest anything has changed. Also tried changing access to see if it made a difference, it didn't. Also on the web browser. Whilst I can now access the shares it's not allowing me to add items to them. It'll show progress as though it's copying the items over however once it gets to 100% and completes, the files don't show in the folder.
Thanks

Are you seeing these issues locally (not using ReadyCloud), or only with ReadyCloud?

Yes, it would seem it's just ReadyCloud. I thought it wasn't letting me write to some folders locally however it seemed there was just a delay. Since the firmware update everything seems less responsive. In addition to the other issues, It's taking a lot longer to access and transfer items now.
**Edit**
Ok I've played around a bit. I tried some of the other folders on the ReadyCloud PC app that allows me in. Once in, it opens a PC folder stating > Network > 192.1. etc > pics which is relevant to the folder I clicked on. If I click on the up 1 arrow for the folder it takes me to all the correct shares and lists everything. When I click on one of the folders giving me issues it asks for username and password and then states that it's not accessible and I may not have permission etc.
