ReadyNAS RND4000 - compatable replacement devices

You actually have a RND4000 v1 platform (e.g., a sparc system running 4.1.x firmware). The labels are confusing... The warranty should be 5 years from purchase for that NAS.

None of the newer NAS (including the legacy pro and ultra) use this disk format.
However, support can help you migrate. You will need to have enough external storage to hold your data, and be careful to follow their instructions before you set up the OS6 replacement. Try contacting them before purchase to confirm.
It might be worth contacting support on the PSU anyway. There are some units that had fan/PSU issues, and you can get a new PSU even if you are out-of-warranty if you happen to have one of those. And they might be able to help even out-of-warranty.
