ReadyNAS RND4000 + CyberPower CP1500AVRLCD

Hi,

I have a RND4000 and would like to purchase a UPS for my servers, just wanted to make sure the UPS is supported with my NAS as well as other windows based servers.

I want to know if ReadNAS RND4000 supports "CyberPower CP1500AVRLCD" or not?

Thanks for help,.

Regards,

  • Hi all,

    Hi Pliant,

    Welcome to the community!

Unfortunately we couldn't tell if the UPS you found on the web will work with your ReadyNAS NV+ (well it may or may not work). For the complete list of compatible UPS for NETGEAR ReadyNAS, it is found here.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Kind regards,

      Thanks for the response.

I see there are some incompatible ones listed. In terms of incomatibility, what does that mean ?

It means that you could have your ReadyNAS powered by UPS but the ReadyNAS may not be able to understand the UPS's shutdown command when you lose main power. This ReadyNAS is very old and supports an old version of NUT.

Other users have reported here that it works fine.
