ReadyNAS RND4000 v2

Trying to connect to my Ready NAS admin page and getting the below error.....  not how to resolve.

Seems the windows updates or something are now blocking access to the NAS  - SSL related.

I have Windows 10.

This site can’t provide a secure connection

192.168.1.3 uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Unsupported protocol

The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

Your options depend on clarifying exactly what NV+ platform you have - many here have confused the original NV+ sparc platform (called a v1 here) with the later arm platform (unfortunately also called the NV+).

    The original NV+ (v1)

    • runs 4.1.x firmware
    • says ReadyNAS NV+ on the front panel
    • may have other labels saying v2 or even v3 on the back

    The NV+ v2

    • runs 5.3.x firmware
    • says ReadyNAS NV+ v2 on the front panel.

You will find that you can access the NAS using internet explorer (or internet explorer mode in Edge).  You can also download an older version of firefox (94.0.2 works) - and immediately configure it to disable auto update.

Once you have access, there are some other options here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/New-ReadyNAS-Users-General/Workaround-for-ERR-SSL-VERSION-OR-CIPHER-MISMATCH-problem-for/m-p/2198243
