ReadyNas RNDP2210D- locked out
So about 3 years ago we upgraded from the ReadyNAS RNDP2210D to a 30 TB N.A.S.
1 year before upgrading the NAS we upgraded our server. I am pretty sure that on the readynas rndp2210D i have some backups of the older server prior to the upgrade. My problem is i can gain access to the NAS . I can see the share folders but thought i used my normal windows admin user name and password to gain access but thats not working. I also tried logging into the webpage for the NAS But again incorrect user name and password.
We are trying to find some folder that for some reason did not migrate completly during the server rebuild.
What i am trying to do is gain access to the old NAS hopefully find a back up from our old server . Mount that back up and find the job folders that were requested. I tried the instructions i found online to reset without losing the data . Unfortunately i have been unable to get it to work .
Can someone please help me . Maybe send me a step by step to regain access.
Thanks in advance for any help or info .

This is a 2-bay Pro 2?
You can do an OS reinstall from the front panel boot menu - see pages 14-15 here: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RNDU2000/ReadyNAS_Ultra_UltraPlus_NVX_Pro_HW_en_8July11.pdf
Be careful NOT to do a factory default, as that will destroy your data.
The OS reinstall will reset the network configuration to use DHCP, and will also reset the admin password back to the factory default. If your NAS is running 4.2.x firmware, that will be netgear1. If you converted the NAS to run OS-6 firmware, it would be password.
If you aren't running RAID-0, you could also try connecting one of the disks to a PC, and use R-linux for Windows. https://www.r-studio.com/free-linux-recovery/

Thanks i was able to gain access.
So i cant seem to gain access to my shares. It shows im using 54 percent or 1500gigs out of 2830 .So i am assuming i didnt delete anything but im still unable to gain access . I am able to get to the netgear webpage for my readynas.
Thank you again.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
If you are using Windows 10, you'll need to enable the SMB 1/CIFS client in the PC (go into "turn windows features on or off").
Or enable FTP as a filesharing protocol, and use FileZilla or WinSCP to access the files.
