ReadyNAS Ultra 2 doesn't start properly
I am having trouble accessing my ReadyNAS Ultra 2, after both original disks chrashed, about one year apart. The disks were 2 TB Seagate Barracuda, and had been running for 6-7 years when one of the disks started reporting an increasing number of bad sectors. I replaced the damaged disk with a 4 TB Seagate Ironwolf, and everything worked smoothly for about one year, until the other Barracuda disk also started reporting bad sectors, until one day the web interface reported corrupt root.
I connected both disks to my computer, and ran SeaTool. The old Barracuda was unreadable and beyond repair, bur the new Ironwolf was ok. Since I had backup of all my data, I tried a factory reset with only one disk, with no luck. The NAS shows up in Raidar during startup, but diappears after one minute. The line in Raidar that is supposed to show firmware version is blank, and sometimes the 'Model' line is blank too. The attached image shows a few screenshor from Raidar.
The 'admin' page is not accessible, I keep getting 'Connection refused' error messages when I try to connect in my web browser.
I have installed two new 4GB Toshiba N300 disks, but the result is still the same. I have tried to update firmware to version 4.2.31, but the firmware doesn't install. I have tried six different USB sticks, patitioned with both Rufus and Diskpart, but still no joy.
I can see the NAS in my router's list of LAN hosts, but it is listed as 'unknown' unstead of 'nas-C1-85-56'.
I would very much like to have my Ultra 2 back up and running, all though no data is lost, as I'm using it as media server.
Does anyone have a good idea what to do next?

If you are attempting to do a USB recovery, it doesn't sound like you are doing it properly, as you should not be parttitioning the drive manually at all. This is the process: RAIDiator-4-2-USB-Recovery-Tool. As those instructions say, the flash drive must be no more than 32GB, but I've had the best luck with 8GB or smaller. Older is usually better and definately no USB3. There can also only be one partition -- some have a hidden one that is reserved and will cause problems.

I read about the partitioning with Rufus in an older post in the community. Rechecking the post, it was about custom firmware. Thorough reading is a good idea :-) I have followed the USB Recovery Tool trying eight (!) different USB sticks, with no luck. Some of tje sticks have activity indicators, and the only blink once about 10-12 seconds after start ut, and then again after 30 seconds. I let the NAS run for 45 minutes each time, just to be sure.
I have also tried to reload the OS twice, but the NAS is still unaccessible.

This statement confuses me, as the only way to re-load the OS on an "unreachable" NAS is via USB recovery, which you say isn't working.
Can you reach the NAS Admin GUI? The NAS is unreachable via what protocol(s)?
