readyNAS Ultra 4+ locking up problem
Hello all,
I have a readyNAS Ultra 4+ (RNDP400U) that i'm trying to use at home. It has been a lot faster for us than the old DUO as we use it as a media share for XBMC, and also run Logitech media server off it (both light use) I was using Bit torrent on it too, but abandoned this as it seemed to freeze up when ever it finished downloading something.
Sometimes after backing files up to the device it would also freeze, deny access to the new files or fail to copy.
I've had this problem from day 1, when setting a rsync job to transfer from the DUO to the Ultra.
This Is usually solved be resetting the device to gain access, and resetting the file permissions on the shares.
So with these niggles i was pleased to see a new firmware 4.2.27 was released in october, Unfortunately the Ultra will not update,
Its running 4.2.26 and when trying to update local or remote brings up a window saying 'Update is not vaild for this architecture'
************SORTED*************
Hope someone else Has had similar problems and can point me in the right direction.

- vandermerweMasterDid you do a manual update?
Did you unzip the firmware file? - AntimoshAspirantThanks for the reply.
I did try that with the old file, And it didn't work.
But have just tried downloading it again and using windows native zip program just worked!
Hopefully things may be more stable, Fingers Crossed!
