You do have 90 day phone support for installation. I think you should use it - the LCD gooblegook suggests something might be wrong with your hardware.
Go to my.netgear.com and register the unit. Then you should be able to contact support from there.

Those particular drives have a high failure rate in RAID arrays. If you can still exchange the new ones, I'd suggest either 3 TB Seagate IronWolf or 3 TB WDC Red drives. Both are intended for NAS, and posters here seem happy with both of them. You can mix/match - so you can leave the older DM drive in the array.

Final note. Your competitors MyCloud4100 is on my network, running Plex with the latest firmware and it took under 30 minutes, and 0 calls to tech support.
