Replace Readynas Duo Chasis and retain disks

There are two duo platforms out there (duo v1 and duo v2). v1 uses a sparc processor, v2 uses an arm processor. (http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/) If you get another like platform (either duo or nv+) then you can migrate the disks with the power down.
If the issue with your duo is that it has a filling OS partition, then the problem will not go away if you move to a new hardware. If the unit can stay up long enough, try deleting the logs (system and backup).
