Most likely one of the disks. Hard to know which one though - in the case of ATA errors, one drive can hang the bus, creating an error attributed to the other drive.
You could try running the disk test from the volume settings wheel.
FWIW, my RN202 has a WD140EFGX and a ST14000NM001G in jbod, and they have no ATA errors. Neither are on the HCL. Netgear has always been a bit slow to keep it up to date.
