RN2120 kicking off drive while rebuilding: not enough operational devices

Hi all,

my nas gave me an alert of a disconnected drive, magically reconnected on its own after less than a minute, so it started the rebuild on its own. Given the issue I decided to replace that drive before it would have failed, but after the swap and the start of the usual rebuild I received this alert:

[ 28.673813] md: md127 stopped.
[ 28.677476] md: bind<sdc3>
[ 28.678048] md: bind<sdd3>
[ 28.678449] md: bind<sda3>
[ 28.678522] md: kicking non-fresh sdd3 from array!
[ 28.678537] md: unbind<sdd3>
[ 28.704835] md: export_rdev(sdd3)
[ 28.708932] md/raid:md127: device sda3 operational as raid disk 0
[ 28.708942] md/raid:md127: device sdc3 operational as raid disk 2
[ 28.709995] md/raid:md127: allocated 4294kB
[ 28.710097] md/raid:md127: not enough operational devices (2/4 failed)

then it got frozen and I had to shutdown the thing.

I see that sdb3 got pulled of, but I'm sure that is good, is there any way to re-mount it without losing the array?

Yes if you are comfortable using ssh (the linux command line).  We'd need some more information though - do you have the entire log zip file?

No issues with SSH, I'm familiar with it, I'm not so familiar with the mdadm command though.

I just sent you a PM with the logs, let me know if you need anything else to analyze.

      Thank you!
