So I'm looking at this on Amazon, are the drives covered for 5 years, and have NBD replacement?

The chassis and the drives that are bundled with the NAS have a separate hardware warranty. The 5 years hardware warranty with NBD replacement only covers the chassis.Enterprise disks have 5 year warranty while desktop disks have 3 years warranty. You may check this link for reference.

Only the ReadyNAS chassis has the complimentary NBD replacement. The hard drives are not covered by it.

NETGEAR Community TeamYeah, ok, so its free NBD on any failed drive for 5 years if its an enterprise drive? And free NBD on any failed drive for 3 years for other drives?
