RN312 shares ok but connection refused accessing admin page, RAIDiator say all OK

Hi All

I attempted to recover password, which worked once OK. after  rebooting unit I can not longer access the Admin page but the shares are still accessible.

 

From reading previous forums looks like the services config files are corrupted...

The unit is a few years old, can anyone help please?

  • The NV+ v2 runs a different OS (OS 5.3.x), so the details of the solution would be different.

     

    What firmware is the NAS running?  Did you try doing an OS reinstall from the boot menu?

     

    Note that if you purchased the RN312 new between 1 June 2014 and 31 May 2016, then you have lifetime chat support via my.netgear.com.  If you have that, you should probably use it.
