RN316 drive trays

good day all.   I have come into a RN31663E NAS from a client that no longer needs it.  For idiotic reasons that don't matter, they destroyed the drives (that's understandable) but they destroyed them WITH the enclosure trays attached....  does anyone have a line or part number on replace trays so I can actually use this?   Thanks!

Unfortunately, they are hard to find.  JeraldM might be able to point you to a Netgear supplier.  The part number for the trays is RTRAY09-10000S.

One option is to look for an old ReadyNAS that is being sold for parts.  Trays from all the legacy desktop NAS (Duo, Duo v2, NV, NV+, Pro, Ultra) will fit (though they are different from the current trays).  Rackmount ReadyNAS trays won't fit - so google the model number, to make sure you are looking at a desktop NAS (or trays for a desktop NAS).  BTW, the very old trays have round release buttons.  They tend to stick, so can be tricky to release.  You can overcome that with a paperclip, but it is a bit annoying.  A part number for old trays is RNDTRAY-10000S.
