RN424 NAS versions
can anyone tell me the differnece between teh Enterprise and desk top versions of the RN424 NAS?
Welcome to the Community!
The difference would be with the drives. e.g. RN424E would have Enterprise drives bundled to it while the D has Dekstop drives.
Enterprise drives are engineered for servers and NAS while Desktop drives are usually used for Home and Office PCs. There are also called NAS Purposed drives like the WD Red.
Enterprise/NAS purposed drives have higher reliability, performance and longevity.
With regards with the RN424 Chassis, there's no difference.
