RNRX4430D on simple network
I have looked at the ReadyNas 2100 RNRX4430D box for my small office (10 people) who have only laptops, these is no server, no active directory only a cisco switch.
Will this work for simple network shares + public shares with laptop backups?

- ReadyNAS can satisfy your demands,you can access shares locally and open FTP service to internet to get public access,also ReadyNAS has some interesting components such as Remote and Replicate to allow you access shares over secure tunnel on internet,one important thing is that you better to connect ReadyNAS to a 1000M switch to get full transfer rate.
- I have been told that the RNRX4430D 2100 12TB kit is no longer available - is this true?
What is the replacement? - The 2100 is EOL. There is a new 4-bay rackmount model the 2120 (note this uses an ARM CPU) which has been announced.
