RR4312X Video surveillance Software
Recently purchased the RR4312X. Is there any video surveillance software that will currently work with this unit?

We currently do not have video surveillance that will work on our NAS units. The latest surveillance service that we had, which is the Milestone Arcus, was deprecated last year. (https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Storage-Apps-Current/ReadyNAS-Surveillance-and-Milestone-Apps-End-of-Service/m-p/1721630)
One option is to use a PC and use the NAS for storage only. Some of the community members here use Blue Iris.
You may also wait for other Community members for other suggestions as well.

John, thanks for the reply. A little disappointed in the fact that netgear has dropped all support for using the RR4312X as an NVR. Sorry but using my PC as an NVR and then using the RR4312X as a storage unit is not an acceptable work around. I may end up returning the RR4312X and purchase a QNAP unit.
