SATA reset on ReadyNAS Duo v1
I have an old ReadyNAS Duo v2 with two HDDs. Recently it started to have issues and froze. Something was wrong with the HDDs or other hardware. After taking out one disk it worked again. I therefore ...

You are right! Thanks. It is a ReadyNAS duo v1 running Radiator 4.1.14. I guess I got confused by my model sticker saying "RND2000 v2".
I used to have two WD disks in my NAS, but one was replaced to a Seagate. Smart+ of disk 1reads (unfortunately in Swedish, I coudn't figure out how to change language):

Is there anything wrong with my disks?

The 155 hard resets on disk 1 is concerning (and not usual).
Is the "Omförsök" value for disk 2 also 155?
- cmbgAug 21, 2016AspirantI have the original smart+ readouts saved as pictures. These are the readouts that occurred when my problems started (both for WD disks) before I started to change disks. Is it possible to paste a bitmap in this forum for you to have an experienced look? These are in English... These readouts says nothing about hard disks resets or retries (=omförsök in Swedish). I'm trying to go back to English in Frontview and think it displays in Swedish because of some general Windows 10 settings?

Are Hard Disk resets due to failing disks or because of a failing NAS hardware? I mean both disk has reset 155 times. Is that a coincidence? or are they resetting because the NAS is resetting?

You can post screenshots (png generally works best) there's an image icon on the toolbar (immediately to the right of the hyperlink icon)
On swedish, there is a language tab in the system section.

I don't think it is a coincidence - I believe the NAS is doing a SATA bus reset. The bottom section of stats are the "+" ones - they are not SMART. Rather they are events the NAS detects or actions it is taking.
The NAS could be failing, but it is also possible that one of the disks is not responding - and the NAS is resetting the bus to try fo resolve it. If the retry count on disk 2 is zero, then the likely culprit is disk 1 (e.g., the NAS resets the bus and retries I/O on disk 1). But if the count on both is 155, then there is no way to tell from these stats.
