Seagate ST31500341AS - Have others seen a lot of failures?
I have a readynas pro with 4x ST31500341AS. I've returned 3 drives for replacement, one immediately, two in the past year, and yet another with an increasing sector reallocation count. I'm considering...
All you will likely get from this forum is anecdotal information.
eg I have 8 of these drives across 2 NAS - other than a few with very low (single digit) Reallocated Sectors, I've been running with then for between 1 & 2 years (didn't buy all at the same time) without incident
