Seagate ST33000651AS vs ST3000DM001
Hello, oh great fountains of all knowledge... I was looking at 3TB HDDs and would be keen to consider the Barracuda range of Seagate drives. Although the ST33000651AS is in the HCL, it doens't see...

If the part number is different, it's not the same thing, and they usually don't announce what they have changed. While that drive is on the HCL for the ARM based ReadyNAS units, it is not on the HCL for the x-86 based units. I would recommend that you find an available drive that is, even if it's not going to be a Seagate.
