Seagate ST500DM002 Hard Drives

mdgm, That is the problem i cannot get any of the drives in 500GB capacity on the HCL list. Netgear tech support basically said, without saying, that it is obsolete so replace it, which my customer won't be happy doing, especially as the device is still doing the job it was setup for perfectly well.
Why should a device functioning perfectly well be thrown away purley because hard drives cannot be sourced and the manufacturer cannot advise which current model drives will work in the device
