setting up a RND2000
Just picked up a second hand RND2000 as a backup NAS. I plugged it in with ethernet to discover on RAIDar. It didn't show up so I tried to factory reset it using the manual on the website. the front ...
My NordVPN software was messing with the firewall and prevented the RAIDar from working.
I don't know how or why it decided to work. The server is currently syncing and I'm just going through the setup wizard.

If you are using Windows 10 you'll need to enable the CIFS 1.0 client on the Windows PC.
