Thanks.
I have "inherited" a decommissioned, out of warranty, diskess RN316.
So I just wanted to wipe it completely and put in some old 4TB disks that I have are lying around doing nothing. So use this RN316 to store data that I can afford to lose.
So I just wanted to make sure I clean up everything as besy as I can, do not want any residual firmware , updates, config, logs, etc.
So the plan was to to a Factory rest and then a memory check. But I was interested in whether i should also lay down a brand new 6.10.3 OS, but it seems the factory reset process does that after it formats the disks.
Thanks again.

If you got the NAS diskless, it is already "wiped". No user or configuration data is stored in flash memory, it's all on the drives.
