Slow forum

Why is this forum so slow for write processes (creating new posts and edit old ones) but quite speedy when reading?

Maybe they running forum on a 104 with 6.1.4 firmware still; time to update to 6.1.6 :)

;) might be something like that
  • Probably overdue for a MYSQL OPTIMIZE and such. Indexes out of date. It's also (last I saw) on an overloaded ESX host.

Skywalker, if my home directory still exists on readynas.com, there was an optimize.sh or similar file to clean up all the databases/tables.
  • The board load doesn't seem to be the problem. Now it's 1.55 and still super slow.
