SMART disk errors or NO SMART disk errors?
I got an email this morning (generated 4 a.m.) from my ReadyNAS NV that said reallocated sector count on disk 1 has increased from 227 to 228. I've never received an error notice for this drive befor...

That's a great idea; that's what I'll do. I just need to find some disk diagnostic tools that'll run on OSX.
