SMB Share Accessible with Domain Account, Others servers Unable to Access
ReadyNAS 3130
Firmware 6.5.0
I have a SMB share configured on my ReadyNAS.
Everyone is set to read/write access
Windows 2012 R2 Host IPs are entered for access
I am able to access the share on some servers using my domain account.
Some servers, I can only access the share if logged in as local administrator to the computer and the ReadyNAS admin credentials entered when prompted.
I would like to make the SMB share accessible with my domain account on all servers.
I am unable to find the issue why on some servers, the share is only accessible using local administrator account.
Any ideas?

Hello SMBSMBSMB,
Is the NAS joined to AD? Are the users of AD listed under Accounts > Local users? This automatically populates when you join the NAS to AD. The permissions of the share, however, will be controlled by the AD when that is how it is configured.
Please see the articles below:

By the way, you also have a very old firmware version. You might want to consider updating it.

Thanks for the reply JennC, but I have found the solution!
Issue Resolution:
Verify the following servers are set within 'Local Security Policy' -> Local Policy -> Security Options
Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always) - Disabled
Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees) - EnabledI am now able to access the share using my domain account
